I have a question about Hook's attempt to poison Peter.  I seem to remember from the Mary Martin musical television version from the 50's that Hook left a rich cake in Peter's underground home to make him sick and die.  However in the written Barrie story that I found in the library, Hook left a vial of poison.  Was the "cake version" an invention of the adapters?
