I did some ome work on the info from the news video and apparently, Jean Barrie was a member of the Peter Pan Woodland Club in Big Bear, Ca. This was a resort that burned down in 1944. Hope this helps.  : )

You may want to try contacting member, Emily Barrie on this post. She has a grandmother, Jean Barrie. Or Robert Greenham at the top of this post. He is very knowledgable in matters of Mr. Barries family tree.  J.M.
