OK, so now I am confused. My name is Robert Hilary Winter. My Grandfather was Robert Christie Winter and his wife was a Henderson. I am told that I am related to Maggie Winter ( JM Barries sister ) and to William Winter, the British Chess Champion. My Grandfathers use of the name Christie was apparently related to his mother, from the Christie/Ogilvy connection, and I know that as we are Scottish, we originated from Kirremuir or thereabouts.....any clues to as to the lineage between myself/Grandfather to JM Barrie and Christie/Ogilvy and JM Barrie......??
