Can I say it's nice to be here amidst like minded souls who have really taken J. M. Barrie into their hearts.

I've known about Peter pan ever since I was a kid, but have never taken any interest in him until I saw the 2003 live action film with Jeremy Sumpter as the eponymous hero. From then, if you'll excuse the pun, I've become hooked on him and the works of J. M. Barrie. 

Although I've known about PP I'm aware that I have what is known as a Peter Pan Complex in that I've never really grown up. I won't disclose my true age, but inside I'm like a 12-year-old boy. And there's nothing wrong in that.

To enter Neverland would be an awfully big adventure

You sound like me--I had the Disney movie and the movie "Hook", but that was about it, until the 2003 film, and that got me more interested in Barrie's original.  And then Finding Neverland got me interested in the story behind the story.  And since then I've come to read other Barrie works too.

I think a lot of us have that--I know I do.

Finding Neverland also got me interested in this wonderful story.  I realize it had lots of things left out for dramatic effect, and I'm sure a great deal added also, but it opened my eyes and heart to Mr. Barrie and this family, and for that I am greatful. I'll never forget going to Google on my computer and typing Sylvia Llewelyn Davies and seeing her beautiful face for the first time...and after that I was lost.  I just couldn't get enough, and imagine my delight when I found this site.
