Where did Michael live in Oxford?
« on: August 26, 2019, 09:20:45 PM »
Apart from Peck Quad, where else did Michael live in Oxford? Whilst at Peck would he have had breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Great Hall? Was his memorial service in Christ’s Chapel?

I remember reading that he lived at an address in the High Street. Does anybody know what number and what were the dates that he lived here?

Found the address. It is 84 St Aldate’s! Was he staying here at the time of his death?  Was Rupert still staying at the college? As they were very good friends I would have thought he’d have moved in with Michael. Which quad did Rupert stay at?

According the bio of Rupert in 'Et in arcadia ego' that Nicholas McAulay put on this site, Rupert stayed at the Christ Church Deanery with the future Bishop of Ripon.  Hope you are enjoying your stay in the Quad  :)
