Barrie interview?
« on: August 30, 2010, 04:59:47 PM »
Mr. Birkin mentions here: http://www.jmbarrie.co.uk/boycastaways/ab_on_JMB_RSC.html that J.M. Barrie gave an interview to the New York Times in 1915. I have searched the NYTimes website extensively, but cannot find this interview. Does anyone have access to this interview? If so, could you pass it along?

Many thanks!

Just check the database - try interview New York as search terms. There are two interviews -one from the New York Times (a funny one), but the New York Herald interview is the one where the quotes Andrew gives in the Lost Boys section you have linked to.   The interview was actually from September 20, 1914.

You need to click on the &tc box bottom right on the home page, then on Database, then on Search Images and finally type in New York in the search box. Good luck
