Play about Peter Davies
« on: October 05, 2012, 03:21:46 PM »
Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that there's a new play about the life of Peter Llewelyn Davies which will be premiering in London from October 23 - November 10 at the LOST Theatre. All the details can be found here:

It would be lovely to see some fellow JM Barrie fans in the audience!  :)

I just heard about your play, Stacy, from my sister in London, and hope very much to get to see it at some point.  What has been your main source for it? I wonder if you have had contact with any of the family in researching for it?  My grandmother, Theodora Llewelyn Davies was a first cousin of Peter's, and I have always been very interested in all of the stories around him, since reading tearfully through our copy of 'The Morgue' as a child...

Hi Peter,

Oh wonderful! We'd love to see you there. We actually just received a 5 star review which I've included below. :) I didn't manage to get a hold of the family during my research, but how interesting that your grandmother was Peter's cousin. And how fascinating to have your own copy of the Morgue! If you do manage to make it to the show, do stay for a drink and say hello!

All the Best,

Hi again Stacy

I am coming to London to watch tonight's performance with my mother and sister.  I look forward to it very much, and hope to get a chance to chat with you afterwards.
