Has anyone read Jane Yolen's illustrated biography of Barrie for children? It just came out in August (Dutton Children's Books). Every double page includes an illustrated quotation from Barrie's works paralleling his biography.

The title of this new book is:

Lost Boy: The Story of the Man Who Created Peter Pan

Author: Jane Yolen;  Illustrator: Steve Adams

To date the Amazon.uk web page for this book contains only basic information, whereas the equivalent American Amazon.com page already has two editorial reviews and one detailed customer review which are both useful and praising.

Jane Yolen is one of my all time favorite writers.  She is frequently referred to as the Hans Christain Anderson of the United States.  I took one of her picture books, GREYLING, and staged it with my middle school students two years ago (with her blessings). There were people in the audience in tears, they found the story so moving.
I will definitely buy this book.
