Madge Henley to whom aunt had told fairy stories said to her one day "You don't know wht fai fairy language (You never been in fairy =land - too big) Cdn't ask fairies for cup of tea." Then explained she (Madge) could & told her the words. "No, tht not right pronunciation" &c. (Madge had made up a fairy language). (P.L.) [Madge Henley = Margaret Henley, Henley's only daughter who called Barrie "Friendy " but pronounced it "Wendy". Died at the age of 5.]
