My Confession Book (1914)

This entry contains 10 image(s), each scanned and uploaded to our database.

"My Confession Book", being a successor to Barrie's "Querist's Album", was given to Nico by someone at Christmas 1913. He took it to Mürren in Switzerland, where Barrie had taken him and his brothers on holiday. There are entries from Barrie, Mary Hodgson, George (signing himself as Santa Claus), Jack and Michael.

There are later entries from Nico's great school friend (and future poet-laureate) Cecil Day-Lewis as well as another later entry from (presumably) Michael, signing himself "(Censored)" but answering "When did you feel at your worst?" as "June 16, 1900" = Michael's birth day. There's also a blank page in case anyone wants to print it out and fill it in ...
