to Eiluned Lewis - 1934

Description

I have got much happiness out of your book. There is a fragrance about it which takes me back to the well-loved home of all of you and loved by me as well as by you, and lo, you are all small again and there is a terrific contest proceeding on the croquet lawn and enter the yellow ball as bright as once he was thereon but not so bright now, and not all the figures once there can be there again.... I welcome you among the writers with pride and affection.
