Peter Pan / Re: A Proper Peter Pan Sequel
« on: December 07, 2020, 02:19:30 PM »
Hey Hannah  :D

Also I’d like to add if anyone has watched the hook movie that when Robin Williams character (Peter is talking to Wendy when she’s in bed after Hook has kidnapped the children) in the background you can see Spielberg had added photos of James Barrie and another one of Michael Llewelyn Davies and James Barrie at black lake cottage.. I had watched the movie a million times and when I was watching it with my little cousin I paused the video and realised it  :P

Best regards,
Chanel

Oh yes I saw that, is he the one sitting on the left while his friend is smoking and laughing while they are talking?

Is he the one sitting next to the couple on the bench and standing on top of them at the end of the video?

Hey, actually to seeing the person you are referring too had me think that maybe it is actually Michael. I had a sense before but I myself wasn’t 100% sure. Let us just wait to see other viewers thoughts. You maybe right.

Hello @jolwerthing, I had a look at the video although I couldn’t tell which one was Michael.
Was he holding anything? Now I know you are not 100% sure that is Michael as you said not to get our hopes up but just which person did you think/ or know that was Michael?

I just read a few beginning sections on the google books ( need to actually buy the book to read fully), and I actually really liked it. I felt like I was in the story instead of Marcus and actually meeting James barrie. Hopefully I'll buy the book and have a read :)

Oh wow, thank you again very much for this, it really helped me know more about them.
By the way one last question, is there any sites available for me to watch the 1978 lost boys documentary? I tried youtube but it didn't help much...

Thank you so much for the quick answer Andrew! Did peter know about this before he committed suicide? Did nico die because of this too, because you mentioned that he had this too, so he died because of this or was it a different sickness issue?

Sorry for the constant messages about this topic by the way...

Davies Family / Jack's death
« on: October 13, 2016, 01:37:34 PM »
Hi, I have been reading alot about James Barrie's life with the Llewelyn davies boys and I find it such an interesting story to be told/read . I was just asking and scrolling through wiki, but it doesn't seem to explain how Jack died exactly.. I do know that he and his younger brother Nico were both cremated.. does anyone have an answer to that?

PS. I accidently wrote it in a different topic section.. sorry..
