Michael dressed as Peter Pan in the garden at Cudlow House, Rustington,
and photographed by Barrie as a model for Sir George Frampton's statue.
In the event, Frampton preferred to use a living model rather than
photographs. Barrie was none too keen on the result: "It doesn't show
the devil in Peter."
