Hilda Trevelyan (1857-1959) cast as Wendy Moira Angela Darling. Hilda had already appeared in the touring production of "The Little Minister" (1897) as Lady Babbie, as well as "The Admirable Crichton" (1902) and "Little Mary" (1903). Barrie gave her the main part of Maggie Wylie in "What Every Woman Knows" (1908), and she later starred in "A Kiss for Cinderella" (1916) as well as appearing in "Mary Rose" (1920). She was to play the part of Wendy close on 1,000 times.
