Did you feel that Barrie liked you? Or did you get the impression that he looked on you as an intruder? Well he must've liked me because he wouldn't have had me there so much and he wouldn't have talked to me so much. I was confident and I was happy with him. Except when he got his glooms, and God nobody was happy then. He must've liked me. I would've known if he didn't. I'm not unsensitive to these sorts of things.
