He had a terrific lot of very very warm men friends. From Walter well the famous names like Captain Scott who he went so far to say he was the most wonderful friend he ever met, to Bernard Freiburg, another very different things. And all these... but there were any amount who met him, and they all thought he was wonderful company you see. Charles Turley who doesn't mean anything to anybody uh was about his greatest friend I suppose. And EV Lucas a tremendous friend. How did he get on with Kipling? Oh they didn't get on very well. Oh.
