Michael was rather THE one mostly for Barrie. George said so. George was an extraordinary young thing, absolutely unconceited, and he had a lot to be conceited about but he was completely free of it. I don't think he would've been a sad man, but I think he would've been a little cynical. My sister was absolutely the right person for him, she was terribly game, always laughing and happy and would've been just right.
